Jason Hope made a donation of $500,000 to the foundation back in 2010. The organization used this generous contribution as well as others from various well wishers to construct the Cambridge SENS Laboratory. The organization also used part of the money it got to launch a fresh research program. Jason Hope revealed that he made his donation due to the creative innovatives that the organization has in fighting aging. He added that the organization is keen on finding the cure for a number of degenerative diseases that cause destruction to the body and expedite aging. Most of the research is based on finding drugs that can eliminate the AGES but past results were disappointing as experiments were only carried out using lab animals.
